Join Our Team: A Design & Operations Intern
Duration: 6 months (with the potential for a permanent role)

About United in Design (UiD)
United in Design is a British charity committed to increasing diversity, equity, and inclusion in the interior design industry. Through mentorship, internships, and outreach programs, we create opportunities for underrepresented talent to thrive in design.
Role Overview
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to support the administration and operations of our 6-month internship program. The ideal candidate should be structured, process-driven, and passionate about creativity, social media, and design. Bonus skills include proficiency in Photoshop, photography, and a creative portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Operational Support:
Assist in coordinating schedules, meetings, and communications for interns and host companies.
Maintain and update program databases, tracking applications and participant progress.
Support documentation and reporting, ensuring accuracy and organisation.
Creative & Social Media Contribution:
Help manage UiD’s social media channels by creating and scheduling engaging content.
Assist in designing program-related materials using Photoshop/InDesign and other creative tools.
Intern & Partner Engagement:
Serve as a point of contact for interns, providing administrative guidance and support.
Assist in event planning and execution, including workshops and networking sessions.
Skills & Experience
Quick learner with a strong drive to complete tasks efficiently
Highly organized & detail-oriented
Proactive with strong multitasking abilities
Keen interest in social media & design (Photoshop)
Passionate about the charity and creative industries
Bonus: Photoshop, photography, and a creative portfolio
