Cohort Four Graduation
Congratulations to Josephine Mensah, Ebony Dobbs, Ashleigh Wilson, Thana Elkamel, Bolatito Sibanda, and Tehmina Janjua, the outstanding graduates of our Cohort 3 Graduate Apprenticeship Scheme. Over the past year, each graduate has completed a series of impactful business placements, gaining the skills, knowledge, and confidence to step into a bright and creative future to interiors.
The event was a true celebration, with our graduates cheered on by their families, friends, and representatives from their host businesses. It served as a powerful reminder of the transformative impact that opportunity and support can have. As Ashleigh Wilson, one of the graduates, shared, “These pursuits not only enrich my personal life but also contribute to my creative process and holistic approach to design.”
Sophie Ashby and Alex Dauley, Co-Founders of United in Design, delivered insightful opening remarks, setting the tone for the celebration. The event was further elevated by an inspiring keynote speech from Brenda Emmanus OBE, who offered words of encouragement and inspiration to the graduates.
Brenda’s empowering message resonated deeply: “United in Design has unlocked doors that should never be closed again. Your job now, graduates, is to continue to push the boundaries of creativity and shape spaces that make the world more beautiful. Believe in your right to do so, trust in your talent, dream big, showcase your professional best, and have as much self-belief as you do ideas. Do not be afraid to fail.”
